Geneva Phillips Clifton, 81, of Savannah, died Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Candler Hospital. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky, and had lived in Savannah since 1945. She had formerly worked for Lamas Book Store for 9 years, and was a protestant. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elza C. and Alice F. Phillips. She is survived by her husband, William Fairbanks Clifton, Savannah, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and John Myers of Coldwater, Michigan; and Linda and Van Fordham of Richmond Hill, GA; a brother, Leroy Phillips of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister, Judy Mann of Macon, GA; four grandchildren, Christopher L. Myers, Robert H. Fordham, Kevin L. Fordham, and Jennifer E. Myers, and two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home - Hodgson Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Chapel of the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home - Hodgson Memoria l Chapel, with Rev. Enoch Hendry, officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens - Mausoleum. Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home Hodgson Memorial Chapel.
