MONTGOMERY, La., Aug. 28. -- The body of Owen C. Phillips, who died of burns suffered in a fire at the Pan-Tex Oil Company's refinery at Amarillo, Texas, where he was employed, reached here Wednesday and was buried in Mt. Zion cemetery, the Rev. F. G. Wardlow conducting the services.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Phillips, and four brothers, Kermit, Woodrow, Edsel and Judson.
