Ada Thibodaux Philippe, beloved mother and grandmother, entered rest at home in Cedar Park on June 6, 2015 at the age of 100. Ada was born in Ponchatoula, LA the fourth of seven children.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Lupu; and is survived by her son, Gary G. Gorton and wife Laurie of Cedar Park, TX; grandchildren: Grant Gorton and wife Melissa of Austin, TX, Grace James and husband Jimmy of Leander, TX, Amy Sandlin and husband John of Los Angeles, CA, Beth Lupu of San Diego, CA; Peyton Hargrove and husband Clay of Manlius, NY; four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 12, 2015 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
