| Birth: | Aug. 26, 1952 Winterset Madison County Iowa, USA | | Death: | May 26, 2012 Dexter Dallas County Iowa, USA |  Judy Rae (Jude) Lenocker Philbrick, 59 formerly of Dexter, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, Saturday, May 26th at her parents' farm home, south of Dexter, IA. Memorial services will be at 10:30am, Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Earlham, IA, 104 NW 2nd St., Earlham, IA 50072. The family will greet friends from 9:30am to 10:30am prior to the Memorial Service and a lunch will be served at the Earlham Community Center immediately after the services. Born in Winterset, IA on August 26, 1952 to Ted and Geri DeVault Lenocker, Judy graduated from Earlham High School. She went on to study graphic arts for two years at the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale where she received her degree in 1972. After moving to Orlando, FL, she met and married David Philbrick in 1980 and over the next 32 years worked in the hospitality and airline industry in Tampa, FL, New York, NY, and Raleigh, NC before moving to St. Petersburg, FL. Judy was an avid gardener, creating amazing gardens everywhere she lived, including on her family's farm in Dexter, and her home in St. Petersburg. Her loving heart created strong bonds of friendship everywhere she lived and her ability to keep all her friends connected to her and each other has been treasured by everyone she knew. Survivors include her husband, David of St. Petersburg, FL, her parents, Ted and Geri Lenocker of Dexter, IA; her brother Russell Lenocker and his wife and son, Sue and Jackson Lenocker; her sister Renee Lenocker Tomberlin and her husband Richard Tomberlin. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. A private family burial will be held at a later date at the Dexter Cemetery.
