She was born Emma Berdena Peterson in Sweden about Dec 1875 and had been married two times before she married Sidney David Bell, Jr. Her first husband was to James Edward Cherpillod from Texas, b. Jun 1861-d. 20 Nov 1914 in Salt Lake City. They had one daughter, Ruth J. Cherpillod, b. 22 Jan 1896 in Wyoming, d. 18 Mar 1962 in Salt Lake City. Ruth was married twice. Emma's second husband was George Washington Winnett, b. Jun 1878 in Tennessee and died 6 Jun 1917 in Salt Lake City.
