She was born October 15, 1929 in Richfield, UT to Lewis Alvin and Leah Adair Peterson. She married Donald C. Beutler on July 21, 1947 in the Manti LDS Temple. They moved to Salt Lake City to raise their family and enjoyed fifty-nine years together.
LaDonna served in many leadership positions including seven years as Stake Relief Society President in the Highland Stake. She devoted her life to serving those around her. Her grandchildren were the delight of her life and she loved them with total devotion.
She had a love of reading, and liked the challenge of learning continually taking classes in archeology, calculus, shorthand, Spanish, scriptures, and cake decorating to name a few. Genealogy was a favorite pastime.
She was a gifted homemaker with a talent for sewing, quilting, and canning. She lived her life with sensitivity, grace, humor, friendship, and compassion for others.
She is survived by her husband, mother, son Larry, daughter Wendy Holmes (John), and grandchildren, Brady Beutler, Emily, Sarah, Stephen, and Daniel Holmes. Preceded in death by her father, brother Kenner, and sister Patsey.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, December 15, 2006 from 1:00 to 2:000 p.m., followed by a graveside service at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, UT.
