Last Rites Sat. For Mrs. Hansen -
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock in the Trinity Lutheran Church for Mrs. Jacob Hansen, Wolbach business woman, who passed away Thursday morning, March 15th. (Funeral details followed.)
Agnes N. Petersen, the daughter of Andrew and Christina Petersen, was born Aril 20, 1894 near Bennet, Nebraska and departed this life on March 15, 1956 at 5:30 am at the age of 61 years, 10 months and 25 days at the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul, Nebraska where she had been a patient after suffering from a stroke for 2 weeks.
She and Jacob Hansen were united in marriage on May 19, 1917 at St. Paul, Nebraska. To this union four children were born, three daughters and one son.
She was a devoted Christian and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, a loving and kind mother, who always thought of others first. She was preceded in death by her mother and three children.
Besides her many friends and relatives, she leaves to mourn her passing, her devoted husband, Jacob; her father, Andrew Petersen; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Studley, three grandchildren, Randy, Ricky and Candice Studley; and one brother, Oscar Petersen of Grand Island.
The kindness and friendliness of the deceased was evidenced by the large crowd attending the funeral.
