ANGIE - Julianetta Peters Alford, 60, a resident of Lonnie Peters Road in Angie, died Tuesday in the Bogalusa Community Medical Center.
She is survived by her mother, Fannie Mark Peters; three daughters, Velma James, both of Angie, Sarah Peters of Morticello, MS, and Valerie Thompson of Varnado; a step-daughter, Pearlie (Percy) Jean Smith; a step-son, Joe
(Deidra) Henry Alford, both of New Orleans; four brothers, Leonard Joseph Peters of Angie, Ruber (Bernice) Peters of Milwaukee, WI, Pernell (Tommie) Peters of Angie, and Wilton (Bessie) Levi Peters of Milwaukee, WI; two brothers-in-law, John (Jerri) Alford of New Orleans, and Lenzie Ray (Bubbie) Alford; two sisters-in-law, Ardessie Alford, both of Foxworth, MS, and Bertha Peters of Angie; six grandchildren, Devon Thompson of Columbia, MS, Anthony Thompson of Fayerville, SC, Shameka Thompson, Antonio Thompson, Tracey James, all of Angie, and Alexis Peters of Monticello, MS; two great-grandchildren, Laporcha Thompson of Bogalusa, and Travon Stokes Jr. of Angie; an aunt, Louise James of Covington; and a host of other relatives
Preceding her in death was her husband, Henry Alford; her father, Lonnie James Peters; a sister, Clementine Peters; and a brother, Lovice Peters.
Visitation will be Sunday at Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa from
3-5 p.m. A wake service will follow at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church in Angie at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday at the church at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Bruce L. Brown, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Mose Cemetery in Angie.
Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa is in charge of arrangements.
