MRS. MARY CALISTA PETERS, wife of James W. Peters, died Wednesday at noon at her home, 31 1/2 East Franklin street, of complications, aged 50.
Mrs. Peters was born and reared in Martinsburg, the daughter of A. S. and Mary Alabaugh Garrett, but has resided here for the past 30 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Funkstown.
Besides her husband, she is survived by children: Mrs. Ralph Shockey and Jack M. Tritsch, of Hagerstown; half-sister, Mrs. Lloyd Maulk, Martinsburg; half-brother, Henry Lee Garrett, Charleston, W.Va.
The body was removed to the A. K. Coffman funeral home, where services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m., Rev. Raymond Miller officiating. Interment in Rest Haven cemetery.
