At the age of twenty years, Mr. [Frank] Peters was united in marriage with Miss Arda Haley, of Berlin township, daughter of Captain James and Salome Haley, the former a well known lake captain. Mrs. Peters received excellent educational advantages, and prior to her marriage was a school teacher. One daughter has been born to Mr. and Mrs. Peters: Mildred, who married Orville Olmstead, and lives on the home farm.

Flat Rock, Nov. 12—Mrs. Arda M. Peters, 82, died at 8:50 a. m. today in her home at 26339 Ypsilanti St., Flat Rock. The body will be returned to the residence from the Ford funeral home at Rockwood tomorrow morning. Services Saturday will be in the home at 2 p. m. and the Flat Rock Congregational Church at 2:30. The Rev. Peter Voss will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at South Rockwood.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Haley, she was born in South Rockwood Feb. 7, 1865. Her marriage to Frank Peters, who preceded her in death, was solemnized Feb. 6, 1886. She was a member of the Flat Rock Congregational Church, of the Flat Rock Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and of the grange. Each winter since 1917 she had spent in Lakeworth, Fla.
Surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Wise of Flat Rock; a granddaughter, Mrs. Arda Hoffman of Detroit and a great-granddaughter, Janet Kay Hoffman of Detroit Beach.

Arda M. Haley, fourth child of Capt. James Haley, b. February 7, 1865, Berlin Township, Monroe County, Michigan, died October 29, 1947 from a stroke, Flat Rock, Michigan. Arda was a school teacher before her marriage. Arda and Frank had one child … Mildred Faye Peters.

Arda Estella Olmstead, b. June 28, 1913, Flat Rock, Michigan, adopted December 18, 1916 by her grandparents, Frank Seeley and Arda M. Peters, name changed to Peters.

Frank Peters Olmstead, b. November 5, 1914, adopted December 18, 1916 by his grandparents, Frank Seeley and Arda M. Peters, name changed to Frank Peters Jr. died January 18, 1921, Lake Worth, Florida.
