Mrs. Maude G. Johnson, 64, a lifelong Arizonan and resident of
the Globe-Miami area most of her life, died Friday at Miami-
Inspiration Hospital.

Services were held Monday in Walker's Globe Mortuary chapel,
with burial in Pinal Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson, who was born in St. David, had been a secretary
for Miami Copper Co. for 20 years.

She is survived by three sons, Kenneth of Tucson, Gordon and
Norman of Washington D.C. Two brothers, Bill Peterson of
Inspiration and Charles Peterson of Phoenix. Three sisters,
Mrs. Veva Barnes of Globe, Mrs. Theresa Phares of Kearny and
Mrs. Ida Mathews of Washington State.
