Donna M. Perzel, 56,

formerly of Mohrsville, died Thursday, May 16, 2013 in Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy, where she was for two weeks.

She was the wife of Joseph J. Perzel. They were married on September 30, 1978 and celebrated thirty-four years of marriage.

Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of Mary Jane (Blatt) Miller Farr, wife of Robert Farr, Mohrsville; and the late Arlan L. Miller Jr.

She was a graduate of Hamburg High School and attended York Academy of Arts and Kutztown University.

Donna was an entrepreneur at heart. She owned and operated Christmas Town Craft Show from 1982 to 1993, and also operated Art, Jars and Accents in which she would sell decorative jars.

Donna worked at the Schuylkill Valley Community Library, where she started the Junior Friends Program. She was also an art teacher at King's Academy, Mohrsville.

Donna was a member of Salem (Belleman's) Church, Mohrsville. She enjoyed reading, painting and anything creative, and was very business oriented.

In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by four daughters: Jaime L. (Perzel), wife of Brian Unterkofler, Leesport; Nichole A. (Perzel), wife of Joshua Leibensperger, Mohrsville; Shannon B. Perzel; and Ali F. Perzel, both of Lititz; and three grandchildren: Novalee, Dakota and Sofia.

She is also survived by a half-sister: Karen Miller, in Washington state; and stepmother: Betty (Labe) Miller Luckenbill, wife of Lynn Luckenbill, Shoemakersville.
