Cynthia Ann Hassell, 78, of Nederland, Texas passed away July 19, 2012 at Harbor Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.
She was a social worker for the Texas Department of Human Services and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church of Port Arthur on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Timothy Dinger officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Paul Hassell of Nederland; sons, Paul David Hassell and wife Mamta Jayavardhan of Cedar Park, and Roger Hassell and wife Kathryn of Evergreen, CO; grandchildren, Matthew Hassell, Daniel Hassell, and Lucas Hassell; and sister, Eunice Louise Peavey Allardyce of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Eunice Peavey and Jacqueline Peavey VanSlyke.
