A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a dear friend to so many, she left our world Sunday, June 6, 2010, to join our father in heaven. She was surrounded by her family who loved her so much. She was 72, a homemaker, a resident of Erwinville and native of Wisner. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen, Tuesday, June 8, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at Erwinville Baptist Church, Erwinville, Wednesday, June 9, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. James Womack. Interment in Erwinville Baptist Church Cemetery, Erwinville. Survived by her husband of 56 years, David Perritt; four daughters and sons-in-law, Linda David and husband Randy, Brenda Ross and husband Jody, Shelia Larpenter and husband Kent, and Davina "Deanie" LaPrarie and husband Bert; six sisters, Bertie Mae Dixon, Christine Moss, Erenestine Schell, Betty Anderson, Mary Lou Mulholland and Corrine Leggett; four brothers, Robert, Jesse, William and Kenneth Ogden; 11 grandchildren, Troy David, Miranda Roberts, Jordan, Kaci and Cody Ross, Brandy James and Heidi Zavala, Kent and Alexis Larpenter, Jacob and Madison LaPrarie; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be George Leggett, Troy David, Will Roberts, Jordon Ross, Kent Larpenter, Jacob LaPrarie and Cody Ross. Preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Bernice Ogden; brothers, Curtis, Harold and Hank Ogden. She enjoyed singing at Erwinville Baptist Church and spending time with her family, especially at their camp on Toledo Bend. She was a member of Erwinville Baptist Church and served in the past as music director. Special thanks to the Erwinville Volunteer Fire Department, her grandson, Troy David, the staff at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and all of the family's friends and members of Erwinville Baptist Church.
