Letha Deola Fox, 92, passed away on July 23, 2014. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, July 28, 2014, at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie. Services to celebrate her life will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Landmark Baptist Church, in Red Oak, Tx. Interment and graveside services will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, in Eastland Cemetery, Eastland, TX. Services will be officiated by Pastor Chad Spence, of Red Oak, and Robert Shields, of Waxahachie.

Deola was born in Crosbyton, Texas, to the late Carl and Nora Perrin, and her family relocated to Eastland County, Texas, when she was a child. She married J.A. "Shorty" Fox and they raised their family in Eastland. She enjoyed many activities such as quilting and sewing, and was an avid reader. Deola was an exceptional cook and grew and canned many of her own fruit and vegetables. She loved bright colors and had a fondness for vibrant, beautiful flowers. Over the years she acquired quite a collection of porcelain dolls. Deola had a sharp wit and great sense of humor right up to the end. Most importantly she loved her family and her Savior immensely.

Deola was preceded in death by her ex-husband J.A. Fox; brother, Robert Perrin; sister, Winona Buckley; sons: Fred Fox, Steve Fox, and Aubrey Fox; an infant daughter, Elizabeth Ann Fox; a grandson, Randy Fox; a step-grandson, Christopher Gibson; and four sons-in-law: David Wilkerson, Reginald Earnest, Joe Beggs, and John Gibson.

Survivors include sons: Gary Fox and wife, Evalyn, Glenn Fox and wife, Christy, and Virgil "Rip" Fox and wife, Sharon; daughters: Ilene Beggs, Margaret Fox, Ruby Bryant and husband, Terry, Rose Arrington and husband, Billy, and Diane Fox; 19 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 40 plus great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and her two favorite granddogs, Remi and Rowdy Gibson.
