Born in Jellico, TN, Mrs. Perkins was raised in Mud Creek, KY where she graduated from Pleasant View High School. She married James and moved to Cobb County 50 years ago, and enjoyed volunteering for different charities. She worked as a Licensed Practicing Nurse for Kennestone Hospital for over 16 years.
