Adelina Perea Córdova, age 87, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2013.
Adelina was born in Corrales, NM on July 7, 1925 to Juan and Felice Perea.
Adelina was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Córdova, parents, Juan and Felice Perea and siblings, Tony, Margaret, Mabel, Seferino, Celia, Erminda, Amelia, Francis, Joe and Heraldo.
Adelina is survived by her children, Tony Córdova and his wife, Velynn of Rio Rancho, NM and their children, Amy and Robert Phillipson and their two children, Amber and Brian Cass and son, Louie Córdova and his wife, Kris of Rio Rancho, NM, and their children, Melissa and Robert Funicelli and their five children and one grandson, Jeff and María Córdova and their three children, Julie and Raymond Alberti and their three children, Bobbi Chávez and daughter and two grandchildren, Mike Córdova and his wife, Brenda of Elephant Butte, NM and their children, Clint Córdova, Matt and Candice Córdova and their two children, Jacqueline Barajas and her husband, Ysidro Barajas of Corrales and their children, Eric and Shelly Barajas, Joe and Jennifer Barajas and their three children, Carol Barajas, sister, Viola Farfan and her husband, Clifford of Corrales, NM, sisters-in-law, Mary Perea and Isabel Perea, brother-in-law, Tony Crespín of Albuquerque, NM and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Adelina was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and a member of the San Ysidro Catholic Church in Corrales, NM.
Adelina enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, and spending time with her family.
A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at San Ysidro Catholic Church, 5015 Corrales Road, Corrales, NM. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at San Ysidro Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Ysidro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric Barajas, Joseph Barajas, Clint Córdova, Matthew Córdova, Amy Phillipson and Jeff Córdova. Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Farfan, Jonathan Rodríquez and Phil Lucero.
