COMMANCHE – Funeral services for Rev. Guy Perdue, 81, of Commanche, will be at 10 a.m. today in the Commanche Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Vowell officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville.

Rev. Perdue was born Feb. 9, 1906, in Fannin County to Henry and Ida Spearman Perdue. He married Ama Smith on May 17, 1930. He was a long-time Methodist minister.

He is survived by his wife, Ama Perdue of Commanche; two sons, Wayne Perdue of Commanche and Rev. Harold C. Perdue of San Angelo; a brother-in-law, Oneal Smith of Greenville; and three grandchildren.
