Mrs. Magdalene Cowan
Mrs. Magdalene Cowan, 83, died yesterday, following an extended illness, in the home of a daughter, Mrs. George Hager, in Center township. She was born in Canton, O., Jan. 6, 1845. Her husband, Isaac Cowan, died in 1922.
The deceased spent 61 years of her life in this county. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hager and Mrs. Andrew Watkins, the latter of Detroit. Seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren survive.
The funeral will be held Friday, will services at 2 o'clock in the Hummer funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
