MINNIE MAE PEOPLES, 77, Hamilton, died on Thursday, January 4, 2001, at the Marion Regional Nursing Home in Hamilton.

She was born on January 26, 1923, in Marion County, the daughter of James Daily Cooper and Ruth Thompson Cooper. she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Thomas Peoples, three children, Ottis Peoples, Patty Joe Peoples, and Rickey Joe Peoples, her parents, one brother, James Halen Cooper, one sister, Micheal Rye.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 6, 2001, at 2 p.m. From the Hamilton Free Will Baptist Church with burial in the Cooper Cemetery. Edward Puckett, Wade peoples and Kerry Peoples were the officiating ministers.

Survivors include her children - Thomas Peoples, Janice Clark, Linda Ridgeway, Brenda Pickle, and Mickey Peoples, all of Hamilton and Ruby Morrow, Cullman; 24 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and one great-great-granddaughter; and one sister -
Myrtle Stone, Moulton.
Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
