Blanche Rita Barrios, 86, a native and resident of Larose, died at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011.
Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by one son Arthur Cantrelle; two daughters, Mona Glynn and Lona Authement; two sisters, Joyce Melancon and Ethel Hinyub; and eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samson S. Barrios; her parents, David and Blanche Curole Penny; one son, Jimmy Cantrelle; one daughter, Darlene Cantrelle; three brothers, Milton Penny, William Penny and Walter Penny; and three sisters, Doris Boudreaux, Mable Penny and Dot Fritz.
She was Catholic.
