Chico Enterprise-Record, Wednesday, November 20, 2002, pg 8C: Blanche Alice Fanlo – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this morning at 11 a.m. at the St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center for Blanche Alice Fanlo, who died Monday, November 18, 2002 at her home in Chico.
She was born June 4, 1916 in Ross, Calif. to Ralph and Josephine Euler Pember. In 1939 she married Peter Fanlo in Reno, Nev. He predeceased her in March of this year.
She worked for ten years in the purchasing department at Chico State, was the first secretary for Our Divine Savior Parish in Chico, and retired from Rexall Drug Co. in Reno in 1978.
She is survived by children, Adrienne and Myles Pustejovsky of Durham, Susan Jeffries of Chico, Peter Fanlo Jr. of Trinidad, and Tom and Onetta Fanlo of Reno; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beatrice Biggs of Santa Rosa.
Burial will follow the Mass at Glen Oaks Memorial Park.
