This stone has an error made at the time it was purchased in 1987 (nineteen eighty seven).
Documents: Bible record, in possession of Gamble family members shows her name to be Pheobe (Phebe) Ann Pelton Gamble wife of James Aaron Gamble. Will of Samuel Pelton of Saliine County Arkansas 1853 shows, my daughter, Pheobe Anne Pelton Gamble wife of James Aaron Gamble. (She is the daughter of Samuel Pelton and Lucretia Martha Adams)
Their son Samuel Allen Gamble is buried in Bridges Cemetery with marker, but his wife Mary Stover is buried in Hico, Hamilton County Texas as is his father (Phoebe's husband) James Aaron Gamble. Mary died in childbirth.
