Miss Esther C. Pegg, 81, 308 Scotland Place, Muirwood Village, died October 25, 1907, at the Lancaster-Fairfield Community Hospital, Lancaster, Ohio.
Born July 22, 1907, she was the daughter, of the late Carl and Gertrude Ross Pegg and grew up in Winchester. She was a graduate of Winchester High School in 1925 and attendedMuncie Business College.
Miss Pegg worked for Woodbury Glass Co. (Later Anchor Hocking and Anchor Glass Contaimer Corp.) and was transferred to Anchor Hocking Glass Corp.'s plant in Lancaster in 1931 where she worked until her reyirement in 1972.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Labcaster and was active in theLaura Rice Seaman Circle, a long-time member of the Quota Club, Twig 2 and the Fairfield Heritage Association.
Survivors in the Winchester area include several cousins, Helen Bunsold, Mrs Karl (Edith) Odle, Carlton, Kenneth and John A. Keys, and other cousins in Idaho, California , Florida, Texas and Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Graveside services and burial will be held in Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester with arrangements being handled by the Walker Funeral Home in Winchester. the Holteman- Feu&dyer Mortuary in Lancaster is in charge of funeral arrangements.
The Rev. James Hollis of the Main Street Christian Church, Winchester will conduct the graveside services here.
