He married June 8, 1843, had two children and lived 31 years. He died from a fall while doing carpentry on a building. The first photo at right showing his age as 32 is at swan Point and was provided by Bill Caldwell. Ebenezer's name on the monument here is a Cenotaph. Ebenezer and Abby were moved by Herbert Perkins when he bought the lot at Swan Point in 1899. Their names are also inscribed on the central memorial on the lot at Swan Point – no individual markers are present for any of the 8 people buried there. They may have been buried here first and moved in 1899 with their names left on the family stone here.
