Eunice Elizabeth Dean Pearson married George Washington "Wash" Pearson July 18,1838 or 1839 in Crawford Co,Ind.They had 12 children that I know of: John William, Martin Richard, Elizabeth, Elihugh (my ancestor) Clayborn,Martha, George W. Jr. who died young,Amanda, Millard (or Milton) "Filmore", Mary Adeline, Rachel M, & Mahulda. Elihugh & his brother Clayborn married 2 Hawley sisters.(2 bros married 2 sisters) I have birthdates for all Elihugh's siblings. I have their spouses names except for Geo Wash Jr who died young, & Amanda. Enice & husb Geo Wash Pearson are buried in the Pearson Family Cemetary on their homestead where they lived. It took me 15 years to find this cemetary. When the depression hit,the Pearson family lost their land to the government. A neighbor was able to buy part of the land, but the cemetary was still on government land when I visited the cemetary a few times abt 1997-98 to vidiotape & take pics of the tombstones. Eunice, husb Geo Wash & other old graves did not have tombstones. there were abt 5 sunken graves with a creekrock to mark them. Newer generations buried there had newer stones. Cem is almost impossible to find without a local neighbor or surveyor to guide you. It is back in the woods abt a mile? from the gravel? county road. You have to go across the neighbors private property to get to cem & you need permission cause they carry guns. Seriously. I read this cem & made a map of the other close cemetarys. I gave copys tothe Crawford & Floyd Co librarys.
