Mrs. Lloyd Pearsall, 31, of Coe township died at 6:10 last night in Moline Lutheran hospital after long illness. She had been in the hospital for two weeks. Erma Bernice Simpson, daughter of Byrlen L. and the late Grace Getty Simpson, was born in Coe, Sept. 4, 1914, and spent her entire life here. She attended Adelphia school and was graduated from Hillsdale high school in 1933. She married Lloyd Pearsall, Sept. 4, 1934. Mrs. Pearsall was an active member of the Bethel Baptist church, the ladies' aid and missionary societies, the Fellowship class and the Coe unit of the home bureau. For several years she served as superintendent of the cradle roll department. Surviving are the widower; one daughter. Patsy Grace: one son, Robert Edmond; her father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Simpson: three brothers, Cecil, Kenneth and Delbert. all of Coe, and maternal grandfather, Guy Getty, of Milan. Her mother preceded her in death July 4. 1929. The body is at Wendt and Dailey funeral home. Port Byron.
