Funeral Services for Robert Walter Pearl were held Tuesday morning, June 25, in the Shrine of St. Patrick with the Rev. Fred Yehle in charge. Music was furnished by the men's choir, with Pam Uhlmeyer at the organ. Rosary was read Monday night at Barkley-Davis Funeral Home at Canton.

Pall bearers were Jerome Ellison, Arnold Kirchner, J. C. Wheeler, Ben Minnerly, Donal Reid and John Nick Kirchner. Burial was in the church cemetery at St. Patrick.

Mr. Pearl died Sunday, June 23, at his home near Canton.
Robert Walter Pearl, the son of George and Mattie White Pearl, was born in Clark County on October 28, 1906. He was married to Verna M. Bader on August 24, 1932 at Canton. Mr. Pearl, a retired farmer, was a member of the Catholic Church at St. Patrick.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kenneth Pearl and Robert L. Pearl, both of Canton; two daughters, Mrs. J. Michael McFadden of Canton, and Mrs. Paul Booker of Rock Island, Ill.; twelve grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Raymond Spurgeon of Flint, Michigan, Mrs. Lloyd Shannon of Williamstown, Mrs. Elza Hanley of Keokuk, and Mrs. Edna Morrow of Rock Island, Ill.; a brother, Ralph Pearl of Milan, Ill.; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and an infant grandson.
