PORTSMOUTH - Harriett Inez Pearce, 72, of Warren Drive earned her wings Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011. She was born June 25, 1939 in South Norfolk and was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Minnie Russell; her husband, Jessie J. Pearce; and her beloved pet, Pierre. Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Joan Pearce Lambrecht and husband Mark of San Diego and Melody Macey; a son, Tony M. Pearce; four sisters, Adabelle, Mary Lou, Joyce and Star; a brother, AJ Russell; three granddaughters, Malia, Jordan, and Jessica; and a great-grandson, Landon. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Gene Primm. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling these arrangements.
