MARBLEHEAD - Caroline Peach Burns, 76, died Saturday evening in her home.
She was the wife of the late Michael John Burns and was the daughter of the late Frederick W. and Allie May (Adams) Peach.
Born in Marblehead, Mrs. Burns was a life-long resident of Marblehead, was a member of the Golden Agers of Marblehead and was a very active member of the Parish Aid Society of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Marblehead.
Mrs. Burns is survived by one son, John W. Burns of Marblehead, three sisters: Mrs. Cora Conner, Mrs. Amelia Goodwin, both of Marblehead, and Mrs. Dorothy Camil of Miami, Florida; two grandchildren; John M. Burns and Kristina Stone, both of Marblehead; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home, 142 Elm Street, Marblehead, Wednesday at 11 a.m.
