WOODRUFF

Willie Mae Peace Waddell, 93, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Magnolia Manor in Inman. A native of Laurens County, she was born April 05, 1915 to the late Cleveland and Emma Tucker Peace and was the widow of Elford Waddell.

She was a charter member of West End Baptist Church and was a retired employee with Arrow Automotive.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Sam Cox Sr. of Boiling Springs; one sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth "Lib" and Shaffer Poore of Roebuck; two grand-daughters and their spouses, Roben and Bobby Collins and Kelly and Robert Barbrey; one grandson, Sam Cox Jr.; one great-grand-daughter, Kristen Collins.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lanford Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Bill Thomason. Entombment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
