Beulah Mae Alspaugh, 91, of Pawnee died Feb. 9, 2008, at Auburn Nursing Home. She was born June 21, 1916, in Pawnee, the daughter of Emmet and Maude Towne Payton. She married Lawrence N. Alspaugh on Nov. 19, 1966, in Pawnee; he preceded her in death. Beulah also was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Beulah was a charter member of Pawnee Assembly of God Church. She retired from the state of Illinois. She then operated the B&L Bait Shop of Pawnee until 2002.
Survivors include two nieces, six great-nieces and great-nephews, six great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, and several cousins.
Funeral service at Curry Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lamoin Lytle officiating. Burial in Horse Creek Cemetery in Pawnee.
