She was an active member of the Episcopal Church, the Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, the Legion Auxiliary and other organizations. She is survived by her husband, R. Lee Bishop, and a son, R. Payson Bishop of Crescent City, and a brother, Capron P. Payson of Attleboro, Mass. (Palatka Times-Herald Obituary dtd Friday, 4 Mar 1949.)
