Owen L. Payne, 74, of Olney, formerly of Clay City, died Monday night at Burgin Nursing Manor in Olney.
He was born in Noble July 26, 1903, son of Thomas and Sarah Payne. On Dec. 26, 1928, he married Mary Elizabeth Sharp in Noble.
Surviving are his wife, Mary of Olney; two sons, Robert of Flora and Leon of Louisville; a daughter,Mrs. Dorothy McWilliams of Olney; two sisters, Mrs.Betty Sharp of Flora and Mrs. Tressie Murray. 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Noble Chapel of the Cardascio Funeral Home, with burial in the Hanna Cemetery.
