The Rev. Q. M. Moeschberger officiated at the services and the Erbe-Hoffman Funeral Home, Chilton and burial was in Hillside Cemetery. Masonic Rites were conducted at graveside.
Mr. Paulsen a lifelong resident of the Chilton area, was born in the town of Rantoul, Jan. 26, 1908, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Paulsen. He was married at Chilton Dec. 1, 1934 to Dorothy Ploeckelmann.
He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Chilton Lodge, superintendent formerly of the Aluminum Machine Shop, he retired in 1900. He owned and piloted his own airplane.
Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. John Paulsen and a brother Vilas, all of Chilton.
