Marion K. Pagel age 89 of Chilton died on Friday January 12, 2007 at the Calumet Medical Center in Chilton.

She was born October 11, 1917 in the Town of Charlestown daughter of the late Carl & Minnie (Bittner) Paulsen. She married Arno O. Pagel on December 27, 1944 and the couple farmed together on the family homestead in the Town of Charlestown. Marion was a member of Ebenezer UCC, the Women's Guild, Homemakers Club, and Germania. She enjoyed cooking, canning, working outdoors and using her accounting skills to hold the position of treasurer for different organizations and clubs. She especially loved spending time with her great-grandchild Cole.

Survivors include her husband: Arno; 2 children: Joyce (Thomas) Sievert of Neenah, Janet (John) Andrews of Neenah; 2 grandchildren: Pamela (Darrell) Ducklow of Johnson Creek, Anthony Sievert of Madison; a great-grandchild: Cole Ducklow; a sister: Alice Horst; and 2 brothers-in-law: John (Vivian) Pagel of Chilton & Herman Pagel of Chilton. Marion is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM on Monday January 15, 2007 at Ebenezer UCC in Chilton with the Rev. Kathy Gloff officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9:30-11:30 AM on Monday January 15, 2007 when services will be held. Wieting Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
