Evelyn S. Erbstoeszer, age 84, a resident of Rock Haven Nursing Home, Janesville, formerly of Sheboygan, died there Monday, Jan. 28, 2008.
She was born in the Town of Sheboygan Falls on Dec. 12, 1923, the daughter of Herman and Clara (Schomberg) Paul.
Evelyn married Arno C. Erbstoeszer on Nov. 4, 1944, in the Town of Sheboygan Falls. He preceded her in death on July 26, 1986.
She had been employed by H.C. Prange Co. and also at St. Nicholas Hospital.
She was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ and its Mary Martha Circle. Evelyn enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, and playing cards.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Carol (John) Fruth of Beloit, and Rita (Randy) Leyes of Janesville; 3 grandchildren: Terra (Steve) Anderson, Jason (Kate) Fruth, and Amanda (Tom Pellizzi) Leyes; 3 great grandchildren: Carrie and Ryan Anderson and Will Fruth; and a sister, Esther Heusterberg of Howards Grove, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a sister, Ruth Bender.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Avenue. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
