Kimberly Anne Canary, 35, of Lewisport died Sunday morning, October 7, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was a Daviess County native.

She was an employee of Heartland Villa, and an active member of the St. Columba Parrish in Lewisport. She and her family have lived in Lewisport for 33 years.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph Earl Mattingly, and Owen and Clara Pate.

Survivors include her husband, Jared Canary; son, Patrick Scott Canary; daughter, Amber Leigh Canary; parents, Mike O. and Judy Pate; brothers, Owen Pate of Owensboro and Aaron Pate (Stephanie) of Sedalia, Missouri; sister, Karen M. Wahnsiedler (Ryan) of Owensboro; nieces, Emily and Kate Wahnsiedler, grandmother, Mary R. Mattingly of Owensboro and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services were Wednesday at St. Columba Catholic Church. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Hawesville.
