A son of Isaac and Edith (Edwards) Patch. He married Sarah Wright daughter of Jacob and Abigail (Adams) Wright on June 14, 1746 Groton, MA.
On June 26, 1761 Ebenezer and Sarah (Wright) Patch among many others, consented to the covenant of the Church of Christ in Groton, Massachusetts and it was voted that their names be entered in the records.
According to the book, "Epitaphs from the Old Burying Ground in Groton, Massachusetts" by Samuel A. Green M. D., the tombstone of Ebenezer Patch bore a cherubs head and said, "Momento Mori, Here lies the body of Mr. Ebenezer Patch who departed this life January 19, 1777 in the 58th year of his age.
Ebenezer is a descendant of immigrant Nicholas Patch Jr., who came to Colonial America between the years 1622 - 1630: (Ebenezer, Isaac, Thomas, Nicholas, Nicholas, William).
