Harriet Pascal Butler, a retired nurse practitioner and a resident of Baton Rouge, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, at 10:45 p.m. at her home. She was 71 and a native of the Republic of Panama.
Visiting at Scott's Bluff Morticians. Religious service at New Light Missionary Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. H.B. Williams. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter, Audrey Butler Bennett; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jacob Jr. and Terrie Butler and Brian Bell; and four grandchildren, Jacob Butler III, Perry Anthony Bennett Jr., Torie L. Butler and Kelsie Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Butler Sr.; mother, Sybil Herdman Pascal; father, Obie Oshey; mother-in-law, Nellie Butler; and father-in-law, Willie Butler.
Her special hobbies included reading the Bible and the newspaper.
