Harriet C. Hazeman, age 66, of Hager City formerly of Cannon Falls died March 30 peacefully surrounded by family in her residence.
Harriet was born November 2, 1942, the daughter of Robert and Verna (Robinson) Partlow in St. Paul. She attended school in St. Paul. She married Arthur Hazeman on January 2, 1960 in Vadnais Heights. They moved to Cannon Falls in 1963 where they farmed. She worked at Kid Duds in Cannon Falls from 1970 until 1980 while raising her family. She most recently worked at the St. James Hotel from 1999 to 2002. Harriet enjoyed camping, fishing and garage sales. She also enjoyed making quilts and drawings for her grandchildren and loved baking for the family.
Harriet is lovingly survived by her husband of 49 years, Arthur of Hager City; children Gloria Hazeman (Bill Solomonson) of New Ulm, Art (Renae) of Goodhue, Violet (Dennis) Melsness of Red Wing; by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; by a brother Edward (Luella) Partlow of St. Paul and a sister Inez Warner of Maplewood. Also by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son John Emil Hazeman, daughters Mary Jane Hazeman and Theresa Rodrigez; by her brothers Robert, Clinton, Chuck, Stanley and Jim; also by a sister Helen Hoover.
