Mrs. Roy Gosney Of Near Edina Died Friday And Will Be Buried At Knox City.
Mrs. Roy Gosney of southeast of Edina, 47 years old, died at 5:30 o'clock Tuesday morning, June 24, 1958, at her home. She had not been well for the last year and a half.
Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Friday, tomorrow, afternoon at Hudson Funeral Home in Edina. Burial will be in the cemetery in Knox City.
There survive Mrs. Gosney's father, Everett Parrish, of Knox City and her husband and two daughters and a son. The children are Mrs. Dorothy Louise Karaff of Knox City, Mrs. Doris Marie "Ronnie" Hunt of Long Island, N. Y., and William Laverne Gosney of Edina. There are left a granddaughter, Nancy Louise Karoff, and a grandson, Roger Mark Hunt.
Mrs. Gosney, as Dollie Marie Parrish, was a daughter of Everett Laverne and Effie Belle Jett Parrish and she was born Jan. 20, 1911, at Knox City. She was married Aug. 22, 1932, in Edina to Mr. Gosney. She was a member of the Baptist Church at Knox City, and was preceded in death by her mother and a sister.
