Dorothy Harris Parrish, 81, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4, 2008.
She was retired from Roanoke County Schools.
Surviving are her daughters, Charlotte Parrish and Elaine Parrish; son and daughter-in-law, Neal and Shelia Parrish, all of Roanoke; three grandsons, Michael, Stephen and Sean Parrish; sister, Sarah Schuermann and husband, William; brother, David Harris and wife, Kay; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2008, in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Elmo McLaurin will officiate. Arrangements are by Oakey's North Chapel.
