Little Jesse Parrish, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Parrish, was struck by the No. 5 Nickel Plate west-bound train near Hedges. The funeral services were held at the Liberal U.B. church, two miles east of Hedges, Rev. E.M. Burroughs officiating. The remains were laid to rest in the Bowholtz Cemetery.
