Virginia Vonceil Parks, age 66, died on July 27, 1991, at the Regional Hospital in Columbia where she had been a patient the past few weeks. She was a longtime resident of the Asbury community.
The former Virginia Noll was born on January 12, 1925 near Dalton, daughter of Gus and Elfreda (Lehnhoff) Noll. At an early age the family moved to rural Salisbury. She attended the Redd School for eight years before graduating from Salisbury High School in 1942.
In June 1945 she was married to Bill Parks. They were the parents of three daughters, Patricia Lymer, Kirksville; Barbara McKenzie, Keytesville, and Beverly Parks, Kansas City. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Paula and Bill Lymer and Jonel, Travis and Eric McKenzie; her mother, Elfreda Noll of Chariton Park, Salisbury; a sister, Dorothy Barrett, California; and a brother, Wallace Noll of Arziona. She was preceded in death by her father, Guss Noll, and a brother, Donald Noll.
Mrs. Parks was an active member of the Asbury United Methodist Church.
Funeral arrangements were handled by McFadden-Fuemmeler Funeral Home of Salisbury. Visitation Monday night with the funeral at 2 on Tuesday. Rev. Stanley Henderson was in charge. Music was furnished by Jean Marie Clark, organist and Lucy Vaughn, vocalist. Burial was in Asbury Cemetery.
Pallbearers: were Ronald Fitzaptrick, Eddie Hanke, Bill Henderson, Marion Elliott, Marvin Kottman and Gary Parks.
