PARKS, Maude Entered into eternal rest on August 4, 2005, Maude Sires Parks, widow of Zed B. Parks. Residence, Charleston, SC. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in Adams Run Baptist Church, Sunday, August 7, 2005 at Three O'clock. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Saturday from Six until Eight O'clock. Maude was born in SC, December 22, 1923, the daughter of William Preston Sires and Lily Savage Sires. She was a former seamstress with Manhattan Shirt Company and a member of Adams Run Baptist Church. Surviving are 2 sons, W. Bruce Parks and his wife Marcia of Charleston, SC and Allan V. Parks of Hollywood, SC; 2 daughters, Carolyn P. Faucette and her husband Ken of Charleston, SC and Lisa A. Parks of Augusta, GA; 1 sister, Anne Newman and her husband Carl of North Charleston, SC; brother-in-law, Turner Price of Lawrence, Kansas;; 3 grandchildren, W. Troy Parks and his wife Michelle, Ashley M. Parks, and Thomas M. McCalmon; 1 great grandchild, W. Connor Parks; nieces and nephews. Maude was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Annie Mae Garvin and Laura S. Price, and 1 brother, James Sires. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Adams Run Baptist Church, P.O. Box 25, Adams Run, SC 29426.
