She was the eighth of thirteen children born to James Louis "J.L." and Sarah Ann (McKee) Parker.
She was educated in the little sod schoolhouse built by her father, on the prairie south of Platner.
On November 3, 1909, she was married to Henry Lincoln Kundert. To this union five children were born. They lived on a farm one mile east of her birthplace for 37 years.
On December 13, 1947, she and Henry moved to Akron.
Mrs. Kundert was a member of the Bethany Church as a youth, transferring to the Presbyterian Church when she moved to Akron. She was a devoted member of Loyal Workers organization of the church.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She dearly loved life, people and polka music. She was affectionately known as "Granny B" by almost everyone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, in 1948, and her son, Elton, in 1972.
She is survived by four children: Zelma Harvey and her husband, Ed, of Fort Morgan; Frieda Markham and her husband, Leland, of Akron; Harold Kundert Parker and his wife, Ann, of Pasadena, California; Lewis and his wife, Mary Ann, of Akron; and daughter-in-law, Aileen "Topsy" Kundert, also of Akron.

She also leaves to mourn her passing a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
