Pauline R. Crist, age 84, of Springfield, TN, died on Friday, March 23, 2007, at her residence.
Born on June 10, 1922, in Stockton, IL, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Rosa Irene (Leitzen) Parker.
Consistently an A student, Pauline always promoted academic success throughout her life, which provided inspiration and support for everyone, particularly her children, to achieve success.
Pauline worked on the draft board for the U.S. Government during WWII. From 1940 to 1941, she served in the Civil Air Patrol as a Corporal.
While living in Kenosha, she was a former member of St. Therese Catholic Church, St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church and their Christian Mothers Society, the Catholic Society of Foresters and also served as a Girl Scout leader for three years.
With a smile which was radiant, warm and contagious, Pauline was always fun to be around. Her family was proud to call her wife, mom and grandmother.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Kermit S. Crist of Springfield, TN; children, Dr. Robert A. (Kathleen) Crist of Burlington, WI, Alice Irene (Daniel) Bernstein of Springfield, TN, William N. (Laurie) Crist of Cedar, MN and Thomas P. (Gretchen) Crist of Green Bay, WI; eleven grandchildren, Mary Retana, Matthew (Bonnie), Cynthia (Mike) Christina, Eric, Benjamin, Lucas, Geordin, Brittney, Nathan and Erin Crist; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack W. Parker; a sister Thelma Irene Parker Reiland; and her two grandchildren, Shawn Andrew Crist and Kathryn Suzanne Bernstein.
