Born in Ogden, Utah. Daughter of Thomas and Hendreka Jacoba "Reka" VanBraak Parker. Raised and educated in Ogden.
A lifelong faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints having served a mission in the North Central States Mission, president of a stake and ward Young Women's MIA, president of ward and stake Relief Society. Chaired the Utah Stake Centennial celebration 1977. Ordinance worker in the Provo Utah LDS Temple. Member of the Utah Sorosis, serving as secretary and president. Authored a history of Utah Sorosis published in 1972. Docent at Provo's Pioneer Museum. Avid reading, belonging to numerous book groups. Active in community affairs and served as an election judged.
Married Ross B. Denham in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple.
Survived by three sons Paul L. (Marcia), Larry R. (Sue) and Reid (Gail), 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, sisters Ruth Paskett, Afton Robinson, Lucile Butler, brother Clyde Parker, and sister-in-law Virginia Frey.
Predeceased by husband December 2004.
