Florence LaBourslier was born in Chicago in 1883. She was the daughter of Adolphous LaBourslier and Celina Martin - both from Quebec. Florence married Sanford Parker on June 19, 1907. Florence and Sanford had 7 children: David (1908-1991), Raymond (1909-1980), Florence (1911-1991) Reuter, Bernice (1912-1999) Sneathen, Harry (1914-1963), Marvin (1916-1994) and Lenore (1921-2019) Smail. Florence's mother died in 1901 so she raised her younger brothers and sisters. Siblings of Florence are: Adele (1880-1880), Ella (1885-1888), Adolph (1886-1888), Celina (1888-1889), Lillian (1890-1954) Willig, Eva (1892-1939) Davis, Marie (1895-1974) Stromson and Frederick (1896-1897). After Sanford died, Florence raised her 7 children on her own. She took a job as a music teacher and piano saleswoman at Lyne and Healy in Chicago. She played the piano and the harp. Florence died in Chicago in 1972.
